This handcrafted 15k yellow gold chain from the 1850's holds an ancient Jade bead. Simple beauty. The bead slides freely on the chain. The clasp is an antique gold push barrel clasp.

This line of jewelry is all about my two favourite things. The art of adornment and the art of Re-purposing. Using pieces that are no longer viable in their original configurations, I take them apart and create fresh wearable pieces of jewelry.

Details.....The chain is 15.5" long with a 3.3mm diameter and the bead measures 9.75mm x 11.04mm.
